Parnie Street
To begin this series I covered the studio walls and floor with paper. This was then used as an immediate working surface allowing consecutive pieces to be tempered by one anothers' marks. After spending some time working in this way I returned the studio to its original condition. The paper from the floor was then reintroduced to build a series of constructions focusing on the nature of the paper itself - its ability to archive mark making and its behaviour within the given space. These constructions can bee seen in the 'Installation in Studio 18'.
